When i go back to Thailand

Now me and my girlfriend talked us up a bit. It is almost completely stamped that we going to Thailand during the period October 31 to January-31 2009-2010 if I can get holiday. Two months is not entirely wrong. Had intended to devote some time to check out the housing market in Bangkok (Krung Thep), and possibly excavation up some ground to begin HOUSE UNDER CONSTRACTION project. The fact is that the land must be secured from rain = floods. It usually takes one year for the ground to sit properly before you can pour a concrete plate. So it is perfectly likely, we will be able to afford to start the whole project then. We have no further budget but it will last very long considering what you get for your money. Have also looked up in any previous trips the potential cost. The key is to ask around and decide what you feel is reasonable. If you want to build a simple house without a lot of complex construction details so you can get away for a good price but then it is to monitor the construction. A tip to anyone who has plans to build in thailand is the building during the dry season. It tends to be plenty of construction workers seeking an extra push when. Since the majority of construction workers in thailand is rice mills in the rainy season what I have been told to me.

Land owner/house owner i Thailand

There are many who dream of living in Thailand and have their own accommodation there. Unfortunately, you can not own land as a foreigner in Thailand if you do not invest approximately 1 million dollar in the country and freeze the money for at least 3 years. If you have done this so you can get right to 1600 sq meters of land to build a house. But it may after all be a house or more in thailand, the problem is that you do not own the land it stands on. Many foreigners and English which, despite everything, buy house, what I have understood the stakes in a company which in turn owns the house that they pay for. They therefore owns shares that are tied to the house itself if I'm not totally out of my mind. Other solution is to rent the ground up to 30 years. In any case, it is a rather uneasy feeling for many to buy a house that is on land that they actually do own. If everything would go to hell and the person trusted so much would leave than and ignore that you actually have been behind the whole project, it is shit. There are many who have stepped in the leghold trap. But there are ways to go. After all, it is what I have heard not so easy to distinguish itself in thailand. Than friend of mine was actually paying her husband to sign the separation of the fair. You should always entertain respect for each other and if the day comes that you can no longer be together for some reason it is important to actually show respect for each other's achievements as long as it's been.

I personally feel that you have a stable relationship should not be afraid to buy a house with a thailand wife or husband. After all, it is a much bigger decision to marry or to divorce.

what to do in the countryside in Thailand

All are growers of rice (almost). When you do not grow rice you may sneak around and do some small things. Checking the neighbors, visit family. When I come down to my girl friends village the entire village committed to indulge me. After a few days, you feel lazy and you start to check what everybody else does. Even if no one speaks English iam going with the people and watching what they do. After having sat in a hammock in 3-4 days usually I do not have anything against going out in the jungle and become a piece of small creep as long as I do not just sit and wait out the time until I have to go home to Sweden. If you spend about 2-3 weeks in the Thai countryside, then it is in them daily chores. Even if you might as a pampered swedish find it a little uncomfortable to trudge around in ricefield in the end, nice to be a part of the village. Although all laugh at you, and think we are stupid we have at least made some people more happy. They come to remember you as a guy who helped them with there work and not as a fat tourist who eat and drink all the time, if it is something you need in thailand, it is friends. One must evaluate the friendship with people although it can not communicate verbally. Since it is so tied to the girl friend will translate from English-Swedish to Thai so you will be forced to learn Thai. And as soon as you speak the same language as everyone else so you are suddenly not just a guest, you can begin to feel involved in the everyday. One can spend time on the Thai conditions. It is different and I could call it affinity. Something that is rare in Sweden.

Thai rocket

An unparalleled experience especially after a few beers. When you see the rockets danger against the sky so you will be surprised at how cleverly built these rockets are. Them tools to use are simple and the material can be bought in the market at any time. Unfortunately it happens that the rockets explode during the manufacturing stage. In my girl friend's home village, so my brother-in-law produces these impresive rockets. On two occasions, the shop exploded and they've been forced to move it further away from the houses. because it is not so appropriate to manufacture rockets with explosive force when there are people around. Fortunately, no one died yet. I am looking to secure the workshop a little better, to avoid risking ans loved ones. The critical moment in the production is when to pack gunpowder. That is when gunpowder grains rub against each other and there could be friction. That is when it hit. Beware do not try to make home-made rockets. It can go very badly. I will hopefully post a recipe on how to mix gunpowder and a drawing when I can.

Elephant in Thailand

Would you like to have an elephant when you move down to Thailand, Stupid idea? I have never taken care of an elephant. It seems to be a rather large animals that have to do, and it must eat extreme quantities of food. We're not so popular if they crack around with an elephant on car. But although it seems complicated, it is a adorable animal. There are quite a few elephants in thailand. The families have an elephant as pets evaluate elephant as a family member. Unfortunately there is not enough food sometimes to educate the elephant in the right environment. Therefore, forced many families to take the elephant to the big cities. In the cities they can find food or pleased tourists can feed the elephants and pay for it. It is not to torment the animal. They have two options.

1. Kill the elephant.

2. Take the elephant to the nearest town to where there is a chance for them to work out food to the elephant.

Although it is against Thai law to drive the elephant in the densely populated, so do the risk that the love they have for these animals are stronger than the fear of facing Thai prison.

Chili peppars

For all fans of chili in the food. Yep if you can not cope with the spicy food in thailand, you can forget to blend in among ordinary Thais at the dinner table. People will see you as strange and find that you have missed an important foundation in their cooking. But you get used to it. I could not eat food that touched a small chili. But after a number of shocking taste experiences I had familiarized myself. It is a fact that if you have a Thai girlfriend / boyfriend, so will they sneak in a little chili in the food even if you say no .. When you finally have learned to eat chili, you may be thinking of growing chili in Sweden. In Sweden? is that going? Yep it goes. And it is fast for it to germinate. The following things need to be prepared for growing chili:

1. Find a south window where it will need much sun.

2. Buy a conservatory costing a dog ring around, and some planting soil.

3. Obtain dried chilli. It works best.

4. Plant.

5. Water now and then.

6. after a week it has begun to grow.

7. wait a few months you should see that you have your own chili.

Ghost stories of Thailand

They vast majority of Thailand that I have encountered is superstitious. They believe in ghosts and banshees. It is no coincidence that they very best horror films coming from Asia and later becomes hostile to an American version. It is not unusual for a Thai to see the signs or visions of what is to come. Like this:

-My friend drowned today when he was out fishing. Explanation as to why he drowned? I had pain in my left knee and had a dream about him last night, it always mean that something terrible will happen. Nor is it unusual for someone in the village or the family to say that they have smelled the smell of death just before any person related to the family has died. There are also rules. It is also common for parents and teachers persuade their children that it can happen terrible things if the kids do not show proper respect and care. In my girlfriend university so did rumors of a guy who had been crushed by a falling stone in the temple. During his study time he had always complained that it was boring to go on study visits to the temple. According to an ordinary Thais so everyone has a destiny, and fate determined on the basis of our action against the man. If we only think of ourselves as it could be sanctioned. Therefore, it is great shame if an accident suffered by the family or if it happens to family illness or other bad things. The basic rules are therefore:

Respect

1. always respect each other!

2. Never patronizing them dead!

3. Never talked about ghosts or other when you are in the jungle!

4. Please remember to treat them earlier with great respect!

5. Never make fun about ghosts

6. And some always reverence to the Buddha.
